Qemetica manufactures sodium and potassium silicates. Both these types of silicates come in two forms – solid, offered under the VITROSIL brand (glassy sodium and potassium silicate) and liquid, offered under the VITROLIQ brand (sodium and potassium waterglass).

Qemetica is the largest supplier and the third largest manufacturer of sodium silicate in Europe.
Sodium silicates are used in the production of precipitated silica, detergents, paper, zeolites and other industries.
Potassium silicates are used in the production of welding electrodes, construction chemicals, including silicate paints and plasters. For the purpose of further growth in this segment, Qemetica focuses on the new silicate applications and development of high-margin products.
Qemetica's silicates are characterised by superior chemical purity, guaranteed by a restrictive selection of raw materials and modern production technologies. Their quality is monitored on an ongoing basis in well-equipped in-house laboratories.
With a wide range of silicates and adequate technical facilities, Qemetica is able to develop new products dedicated to specific applications and implement products customised to the individual requirements of the recipient.
