He has held the office of the President of the Management Board of QEMETICA (formerly CIECH) since 27 May 2023. Previously, from June 2022, he was a Member of the Management Board of QEMETICA, responsible for strategy and business transformation. He has been associated with the QEMETICA Group since 2018, when he took up the position of Director of the Strategy Department responsible for developing and implementing the Group's strategy. In 2020-2021, he simultaneously served as the President of the Management Board of Business Unit Resins.

His key achievements to date at QEMETICA include leading the company through a major transformation in 2023, which encompassed the delisting of the company from the Warsaw Stock Exchange, a comprehensive rebranding from CIECH to QEMETICA, and the acquisition of the precipitated silica business from PPG for PLN 1.2 billion (approximately $310 million) in one of the largest transactions ever carried out by a Polish company on the US market. Additionally, he coordinated activities related to improving efficiency in the soda business (digitalisation), prepared a plan for the modernisation of energy sources in accordance with the adopted ESG Strategy, and conducted a review of the Group's businesses, including the sale of the Business Unit Resins for PLN 160 million in 2021. He also played a pivotal role in preparing the Group’s strategies for 2019-2021 and 2022-2024, ensuring their effective implementation.

Work experience

From 2018 to 2021, Kamil Majczak also worked for Kulczyk Investments. His previous professional experience also includes employment with the strategic consulting company Bain & Company in Warsaw and Melbourne (2014-2018) and the consulting company PriceWaterhouseCoopers in London (2012-2014).

Education

Kamil Majczak has a master's degree in economics from the University of Cambridge and a bachelor's degree in economics from the Warsaw School of Economics.

Marcin Puziak has been working in the Qemetica (previously CIECH) since 2019. As the Head of the Controlling Department, he built a new efficient structure of the department, implemented a management reporting system, and introduced Business Intelligence for the Group. He has also been involved in implementing several key initiatives in the areas of: mergers and acquisitions, refinancing, taxation, treasury, performance management and organisational restructuring. He is a promoter of a data-driven enterprise culture.

Work experience

From 2011 to 2013, he was associated with Franklin Templeton Investments. Simultaneously, from 2009 to 2019, he served as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Microeconomics at the Poznań University of Economics, combining scientific and teaching work with practical experience in financial and economic management in various entities.

Education

Marcin Puziak holds a Ph.D. in economics and completed his studies at the Poznań University of Economics, where he worked as a lecturer for ten years. He specialises in sectoral competitiveness and profitability of enterprises.

He has held significant leadership roles, including his position as Vice President & Integrated Supply Chain Transformation Officer at Nouryon, where he played a key role in a major private equity acquisition and significantly improved productivity across multiple global sites.

His career highlights include serving as Chief Transformation Officer at BP, where he led a comprehensive transformation program that generated $400 million in savings. David's expertise spans across supply chain management, mergers and acquisitions, and operational excellence, with a proven track record in both public and private sectors. His previous experience at Ineos includes turning around a struggling specialty polymer business and leading global commercial strategies.

David is known for his pragmatic approach, strong leadership skills, and ability to navigate complex challenges. He is a strategic thinker with a passion for driving results while maintaining a people-focused leadership style.
