QEMETICA, an international industrial group, has signed a contract with a consortium consisting of Mostostal Zabrze Realizacje Przemysłowe S.A. (MZRP S.A.) and Sumitomo SHI FW (SFW)  to carry out a project to convert a coal-fired boiler into a biomass-fired boiler. The modernization will reduce coal consumption by approximately 100,000 metric tons per year at the soda plant in Inowrocław and enable a reduction in CO2 emissions of approximately 200,000 metric tons per year. The contract is valued at 299.99 million PLN. QEMETICA has also secured funding from the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW) for the project in the amount of 99.9 million PLN. Construction work will begin later this year, and the boiler is scheduled to be commissioned in the second half of 2028.

QEMETICA, an international chemical group with Polish roots, has launched sales in the Australian market, where it offers agricultural products through its own company QEMETICA Agricultural Solutions Australia. This marks a strategic milestone in the group’s global expansion and has the potential to serve as a springboard for further growth of its agricultural business in the Asia-Pacific region.

QEMETICA, an international chemical group with Polish capital, and its subsidiary Smart Fluid, have signed a three-year strategic cooperation agreement with Taiwan’s Hocheng Corporation and the Polish building and industrial company SKB Group. The goal of the partnership is to strengthen cooperation in the chemical industry, as well as in the production of industrial materials, chemicals, and components for various industrial sectors. The agreement was signed in the presence of Taiwan’s Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs, Cynthia Kiang.

QEMETICA, an international chemical group with Polish capital, has signed a preliminary agreement to sell its salt business to international salt & fertilizer company K+S. The transaction value will amount to €350 - €380 million. QEMETICA will use the funds raised through this sale to strengthen Group’s financial position and support further development. The company is launching a new business segment: Resource Recovery, with a primary focus on using waste as a source of energy. Combined with the international expansion of its business, this is intended to strengthen the Group’s resilience against high energy prices in Europe and increase its competitiveness.  

QEMETICA S.A. and the Łukasiewicz Research Network will develop innovative products and industrial solutions to be delivered to the Group’s global customers. The cooperation will also cover dual-use technologies for the defense sector.
