The "Employee-Friendly Employer" competition promotes employers that stand out in terms of compliance with labor law regulations, in particular by guaranteeing employment stability, adherence to occupational health and safety rules, and the right to form trade unions. This is the only competition of this type in which candidates for the award are nominated by employees associated with the Independent and Self-Governing Trade Union "Solidarity”. When making the final assessment, the opinion of the trade union organization is paramount.
Among the laureates of this year's competition was the Inowrocław-based company Qemetica Soda Polska, which is a part of the Qemetica Group. All the honored companies in this year's edition were awarded during a ceremonial gala held in the Column Hall of the Presidential Palace in Warsaw. The companies received the "Employer Friendly to Employees" certificate, which they can use for three years, as well as a commemorative statuette. On behalf of Qemetica Soda Polska, the award was received by Kamil Majczak, the President of the Management Board of Qemetica S.A., and Tomasz Molenda, the President of the Management Board of Qemetica Soda Polska.
"For us, this is a unique distinction, as our employees, affiliated with labor unions, recommended our company to participate in the "Employer Friendly to Employees" competition. Their loyalty and commitment, which support our values and practices aligned with the ESG strategy of the Qemetica Group, have earned us this prestigious title. This award is proof of our collective dedication and commitment to creating a friendly and developmental work environment. Thanks to this effort, Qemetica Soda Polska, as a part of the Qemetica Group, is simultaneously a stable and the largest employer in the region," emphasized Tomasz Molenda, President of the Management Board of Qemetica Soda Polska.
Qemetica Soda Polska is one of the key enterprises in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. It has two production plants, located in Inowrocław and Janikowo. Employing over 1500 workers in the Inowrocław district, Qemetica Soda Polska is one of the largest and most significant employers in the local market.
The success associated with the recognition of Qemetica Soda Polska in the "Employer Friendly to Employees" competition is linked to the consistent implementation of the ambitious strategy of the Qemetica Group for the years 2022-2024. One of its key elements is creating a friendly work environment and supporting employee engagement and development based on the Group's values. The company's business strategy is based on the award-winning ESG strategy of the Qemetica Group, and it sets goals related to its key stakeholders, such as employees, shareholders, investors, as well as local communities.
